The Opportunity

What it actually looks like to build this business.

No fluff. Here's who we're looking for, what you get on day one, and where this can take you if you put the work in.

Who We're Looking For

Coachable, driven, and willing to run it like a business.

No experience required

We've built new agents from scratch before. If you're not yet licensed, we'll point you toward getting licensed and plug you into training the moment you are.

Coachable over "experienced"

We'd rather work with someone new who takes feedback than a veteran who thinks they've got nothing left to learn.

Full-time or part-time paths

Some agents build this alongside a current job before transitioning full-time. Others jump in from day one. Both paths exist here.

Entrepreneurial mindset

This is an independent contractor opportunity. The agents who do best here treat it like their own business, not a shift they clock into.

What You Get

The support most "1099 opportunities" promise and don't deliver.

Leads

Company Lead Programs

Access to lead flow so you're not starting from a cold list of family and friends. Multiple lead tiers as you prove out your activity.

Training

90-Day Onboarding Playbook

A structured first-90-days path covering product knowledge, the sales process, objection handling, and daily activity targets — plus a fillable commitment plan to track it.

Products

Whole Life & IUL Portfolio

Carrier-backed whole life and indexed universal life products built to fit a wide range of household budgets and needs.

Culture

Daily Structure & Accountability

Regular team meetings, activity tracking, and recognition systems that keep momentum up without babysitting anyone.

Compensation

A commission structure that rewards production and leadership.

As an independent agent, you're paid on a commission basis tied to the business you write, with advancement tiers as your production and experience grow. Agents who step into leadership add override income from the teams they build. Exact contract levels are covered carrier-by-carrier during onboarding — we'll walk you through real numbers on a call, not vague promises on a webpage.

Growth Path

Where this can go if you stay consistent.

New Agent

Complete onboarding, work your first lead programs, and get reps on real appointments with support from leadership.

Producing Agent

Consistent activity and closed business unlock higher lead tiers and larger comp levels.

Team Lead

Start recruiting and mentoring new agents, adding override income on top of personal production.

Agency Builder

Run a full team under the Omerta banner with a hand in recruiting, training, and the systems that run it day to day.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need to already have my life insurance license?

No. We work with both licensed agents and pre-licensing candidates. If you're not licensed yet, we'll point you toward getting your state life insurance license and have training ready the moment you are.

Is this a W-2 job?

No. Agents join as independent contractors under the FFL (Family First Life) distribution model, which means you're building your own book of business with our lead flow, training, and support behind you.

Can I do this part-time?

Yes. Many agents start part-time and transition to full-time once their production ramps up. We'll be upfront about what activity level each path realistically requires.

What does the first 90 days look like?

A structured onboarding playbook: product and process training, supervised appointments, daily activity targets, and regular check-ins with leadership so nothing falls through the cracks.

Where are agents based?

Our home office is in Boynton Beach, FL, and we support agents working their local markets, with remote and phone-based sales tools available depending on your state and carrier appointments.
